What does your bartending services include?

Do you bring the alcohol?
No. Per state liquor laws, a company needs to own a liquor store in order to bring liquor to an event.

Can I have a cash bar?
A cash bar, even at a private event is illegal in the state of Colorado without a liquor license. If you are a 501c and you have applied for and received a special liquor license from the town/city/county you are hosting the event at then you can have a cash bar at a private event.

What are your rates?
Every situation / event is different. Please fill out the form on the Request Proposal page and we will respond within 2 business days.

How much do you charge if I want to keep you an extra hour?
1.5 times the rate

What locations do you serve?
The Denver / Colorado Springs Metro areas. Outside of these area, trip charges may apply

How many bartenders do I need for my event
This varies based on number of guests and types of alcohol being served. As a general rule of thumb, if you are serving beer/wine only 1 bartender for every 75 guests. If you have a full bar (beer/wine/cocktails) or keg beer then 1 bartender for every 50 guests.

Can you tell me what alcohol / mixers I need to purchase?
Once you book an event with Moonlight Bartending, we will send you a shopping list based on number of guests.

Do you come with a bar?
We have very professional 2-tier bars available for rent. Pictures of these bars can be found on our Gallery page.

Are you insured?
Yes, we have general liability, workmen’s compensation, and liquor liability

Are your bartenders and servers certified?
All of Moonlight Bartending staff whether they are a bartender or server are TIPS state certified.

Which forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check, master card, visa, discover and american express.

Do you need a deposit to hold the date?
Yes, there is a $50 non-refundable deposit per employee scheduled for your event.

What does your staff wear?
Black dress pants, black shoes, white button down Moonlight Bartending shirt.

Does your staff come with their own tools & equipment?
Yes, Moonlight Bartending comes with a full kit of everything needed to run the type of event you have booked, with one exception, we do not provide a tap for kegs.

Do you offer catering, photographer, DJ and other services?
No, please refer to our preferred vendor page for some great suggestions!
